Description
This photograph is part of a series taken on 35mm film in New York. The exposed film became water-damaged. The resulting images display many imperfections as a consequence. Due to the emulsion being rather delicate (having come off in places), scans were made with artefacts and drying marks still present on the film. The damage is part of the story of the images and, as is the case with this photograph, adds an interesting characteristic to the photos that cannot be replicated.
