The time has come, the culmination of three years of work is here; the degree show Individually Together is upon us. The degree show at Kingsway Campus, Chester is an exhibition that encompasses work from all of the art and design courses at the University of Chester, including, graphics, fashion, fine art, and of course the best one, photography.
This year the Kingsway campus itself has been repurposed as an exhibition space. As you walk around, you’ll see work from all of my fellow students who are finishing their degrees this year. And of course my own work features in this assembly of arty stuff that you can look at.

My contribution to the exhibition is entitled Subjective Reality. A presentation of stereographs – a pair of images taken side-by-side when viewed forms a 3D image in the viewer’s mind as the brain tries to interpret these two images simultaneously. This ties in with the psychological subject matter of the work: narcissistic personality disorder – a subject that I have explored before, but never in this way.
The work featured in Individually Together celebrates the diversity and creativity of the 2024 graduates. To me, it feels very much like a victory lap, showcasing everyone’s hard work and dedication to their pracitices over the last 3 or more years.
The exhibition is open until 21st June. Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm.
